In a nutshell, NewzDog is a news alerts service that brings you information on any subject (news, gossip) you are interested in as soon as it is published on the internet.

The NewzDog desktop alerts service brings together major (and not so major) web sites and allows you to ask to be notified via desktop alerts when a news item you are interested in is published. By news we mean news, gossip, latest events you know, basically anything you are interested in! All you have to do is specify and subject you are interested in and install the desktop widget (pictured below)

Be as broad or as narrow as you want

Let's say you are a soccer fan ? Using NewzDog you can simply subscribe to the topic "soccer" and newzdog will bring you the latest soccer articles from around the net. The term soccer alone will get you a lot of information some of which you might not want. You might only want news and updates on your favorite team. That is no problem, you could subscribe to "Manchester United" or "Chelsea" or "Real Madrid FC", it doesn't matter want you want as NewzDog will alert you to that information on whatever you are looking for as soon as it is published!

You can also be precise about where your information comes from; for example you can choose to only get items from the BBC or from the BBC sport. You would simply choose the BBC feed and enter the keyword "Olympics". As soon as the BBC published a story on this subject you would recieve a sports alert to your desktop! Choosing a feed is optional.

Fire and Forget

Simply subscribe to the topic you are interested in then just get on with whatever else your are doing. NewzDog widget will bring it to you. Remember: NewzDog scans the worlds leading sources so you don't have to.
